Tercica (Dexibuprofen) Indications & Uses
Dexibuprofen Tablets indicated for the treatment of:
- Pain and inflammation caused by osteoarthritis
- Acute symptomatic treatment of pain during menstrual bleeding (Primary dysmenorrhea)
- Mild to moderate pain, such as pain in the muscles and joints and dental pain
- It may be used as an antipyretic to reduce fever
Tercica (Dexibuprofen) Contraindications
Best Dexibuprofen Syrup/Tablets should not administered to:
- Patients with hypersensitivity to dexibuprofen or other non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs
- The Patients with active or suspected gastrointestinal or history of recurrent gastrointestinal ulcer
- Patients with have gastrointestinal bleeding or other active bleeding or bleeding disorders
- The Patients with Crohn disease or active ulcerative colitis
- Patients with severe renal dysfunction (GFR) 30 min )
- The Patients with hemorragic diathesis and other coagulation disorders, or patients receiving anticoagulant therapy
- From the beginning of 6 month of pregnancy

Symptoms or history of gastro-intestinal, asthma, impaired hepatic, cardiac or renal function. However, NSAID may mask infection or temporarily inhibit platelet aggregation. Anticoagulants

Methotrexate Used At Dose Of 15 MG/Week Or More
If NSAID and methotrexate are given within 24 hours of each other plasma levels of methotrexate increase. Via a reduction in its renal clearance thus increase the potential for methotrexate toxicity. Therefore, in patients receiving high dose treatment with methotrexate, the concomitant use of Dexibuprofen not recommended .
Lithium
